What We Do
At Ruff-To-Ready Academy, I help dogs and their owners build calm, confident relationships through communication, consistency, and compassion. Whether you need assistance with basic manners, leash pulling, anxiety, or fun tricks, I’ll meet your pet where they are and guide you to where you want to be, setting you both up for success!
We specialize in positive reinforcement dog training and practice exclusively using science-backed clicker training methodology. We provide you with ALL the starting materials you will need—just bring your pet, yourself, and a positive attitude!
The training we practice is efficient, effective, and ever-lasting, ensuring that the skills learned are transferable. It's like the saying goes: 'Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime.'
But, for us its: 'Give an owner a trained dog and they will communicate for a day. Teach an owner to train a dog, and they will communicate for a lifetime.'
